Hotel Ideal - Forio (Isola d'Ischia)

I was delighted with the cozy and charming decor of the hotel. The traditional Italian style furniture and lovely artwork created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas, such as the manicured garden and olive grove, were a pleasure to stroll through and relax in. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with well-maintained pathways and ramps throughout the property, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking stick.

I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the children working there when it came to planning activities suitable for senior guests. It would have been helpful to have more information available about excursions and tours that cater to older individuals.

The hotel offers exceptional facilities and amenities, including a beautiful garden, a lovely pool with fantastic views, and a peaceful and calm atmosphere. the staff is friendly and accommodating, providing prompt answers to all our questions. the food served, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, was delicious and tasty. the hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the ferry port, which is very convenient. the location of the hotel is perfect, situated between Forio center and Citara beach, making it easy to explore both areas. we had a perfect stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The staff made us feel like family and were always willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

the room furniture was cheap in quality, furniture that would be in a lesser priced room, receptionist that would be more informative on all the services offered, a guest should not have to ask what is availiable that should be mentioned at check in

Very nice quiet hotel. Well located, 15 min walk to Posseidon gardens or Forio center (located not as in the google map, but side by side to Il Gattopardo hotel). Staff was very helpful an even spoke english. The room was clean and big enough. Lovely peaceful garden. Dinner was really big and tasty, fine wines list, good value for money. We booked room with see view and it had nice large terrace including beach chair. Free wi-fi in the lobby.

Beach without service is quite close (as a hotel guest you can have umbrella for free), but it is very dirty, narrow and steep going to the water. It is much better to use beaches in the north Forio or Posseidon gardens (it is a separately pay beach near gardens as well). Breakfast could be better, juice and coffee from automat. Fresh squeezed orange juice is for additional charge. Air conditions work not all the time (switches off depending on outside temperature), if you want it work the rest of the time you need contact reception.

I keep coming back to this hotel because the staff is amazing. They once helped me find a lost valuable. The hotel has everything I need, including Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, and a 24-hour reception. Also, it has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and spa services. Dryer, laundry, and flat-screen TV are available. I can't wait to come back for Christmas.

We received a very warm welcome at this small hotel that makes every guest feel special. The pretty garden and two pools were a great place to relax. Evening meals and breakfast were good value, tasty local produce.

The air conditioning is not on until July, not a big complaint, but we would have enjoyed a cooler room for sleeping.

The room was perfect with comfortable beds, a well-equipped ensuite, and a stunning view of the sea and lighthouse from the balcony. The hotel's peaceful location and beautiful gardens added to the overall charm. The pool area was the crowning glory, and the food was absolutely delicious, making us change our plans to eat there again. We will definitely be returning to this fantastic place!

One particular detail that stood out was the availability of rooms with two single beds, perfect for friends or family traveling together.

The hotel is situated in a calm area, away from the crowded places, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always ensuring that our needs were met. The rooms, especially the ones with a terrace, are cozy and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was delicious and offered a variety of options to choose from.

I loved the hotel facilities - the hot and cold pool were a lot of fun and the gardens were beautiful with nice swings. The location was great and not far from the beach which was so clear and blue. The staff was really helpful and friendly, they gave us great recommendations for restaurants around town.
